We were SO excited when the Carruthers family came to us with the vision of creating a beautiful porch that would be a cool and comfortable gathering place for their family. They had beautiful dreams of spending precious time with their family, friends, and neighbors, all while relaxing outdoors and watching their children riding their bikes and playing on the front lawn! ☀️
Our team worked closely with Sarah & Dustin to make design selections that would enhance the natural charm of their 1958 home and create the mid century modern porch of their dreams.
The experts say typical elements of mid-century modern design include clean lines, muted tones, a combination of natural and manmade materials, graphic shapes, vibrant colors, and integrating indoor and outdoor motifs.
The details: A combination of wood, metal and brick were used as our favorite design elements.
